PRODUCT DESIGN STRATEGY

If You Know, You Know


The main design goal was to do as much talking as possible with the fewest elements possible. By simply using materials, colors, and special finishes, the details that relate to each character come to life in a balancing act of the abstract with the concrete.

We wanted someone to appreciate the design and subtlety whether they were a big Star Wars fan or not—if they were, they had a great design story to share with their friends and family.

MARKETING CAMPAIGN STRATEGY

Obvious, Not Overt


We wanted to tell the timeless story of good vs. evil, dark vs light, the evil Empire vs the hopeful Rebellion. By utilizing one or two iconic designs or environments known from the Star Wars canon and mixing multiple character pairings, it became obvious which character these designs represented.
